Boutique Clothing Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE: To coordinate the Boutique Clothing Department including processing clothing, supervising volunteers, pricing, displaying and managing all inventory related to the Boutique Department.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred OR equivalent work experience

Experience:

Prior experience supervising a team and or volunteer staff (preferred)
Prior retail experience in clothing a plus
Understanding of premium, boutique-type items helpful

Must:

Demonstrate personal walk with Jesus Christ
Possess strong oral and organizational skills
Be professional and courteous at all times

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Build a team environment that honors and glorifies God.
  2. Direct the activities of and encourage all volunteers in the Boutique clothing area.
  3. Lead volunteers in daily tasks (sorting, sizing, labeling, and pricing, when applicable).
  4. Communicate vision for department – set departmental goal and objectives (meet with management daily).
  5. Maintain organization and cleanliness in the Boutique clothing areas of the store.
  6. Handle the stocking of the floor, managing “missioned” clothing and drop off items.
  7. Supervise student and group projects that involve the Boutique clothing department.
  8. Be able to lift, bend and stand for long periods of time and use a step ladder.
  9. Other duties, as assigned.

Work Schedule: Job share with current Boutique Coordinator 3 days per week (days will change). Training will be provided.
